The Sony Ericsson T226 Cell Phone
This particular cell phone by Sony Ericsson is a nice change from all the high tech stuff that's been coming out recently. The T226 isn't a camera or an mp3 player and it has no intention of being your PDA, but that's just fine. You can get this cell phone for a low price and for some people who are simply looking for a phone, it's certainly a great choice for them.
As mentioned above the Sony Ericsson T226 cell phone is a basic phone for low end users so not much was expected in terms of features. It has all the basics of a mobile phone of course and then a little but more. The extra features of this phone include Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) that you can use to send pictures and sounds to your friends cell phones or emails. With the Sony Ericsson T226 you'll also be able to assign pictures to Caller IDs or even use them as your wallpaper. The cell phone is also GPRS enabled so you can surf the web. However it doesn't include J2ME support so you won't be able to download and use any Java applications or games.
When it comes to reception and signal strength the Sony Ericsson T226 cell phone performs quite well. The quality of the calls was acceptable and the fact that I didn't have to repeat myself over the phone was great. This particular mobile also has a decent battery life. You'll be able to make your calls on it and chat but this mobile phone isn't what you're looking for if you intend to talk all day.
A basic mobile phone that's above average, the Sony Ericsson T226 cell phone is just the thing for low end users who want the option of advancement and high end features.
