The Sony Ericsson P800 Cell Phone
Another top quality production the P800 cell phone-PDA hybrid is one of Sony Ericsson's best creations yet. A smart blue and silver in color, the phone is a little bulky (to be expected) but it still manages to stay comfortable in your hands when you're taking or making a call. And while it's a 158g, this mobile is still lighter than carrying both a cell phone and a PDA together.
Apart from using the normal keypad and scroll button at the side of the phone to navigate through the menu, you can always opt to use the provided stylus. Used much like an actual PDA The Sony Ericsson P800 cell can revert to a pen based mode where you can access the phone's full list of applications. Navigating through the menu might seem a little daunting at first but you'll get use to it fairly quickly. Also, the most important programs have already been marked as tabs on the main screen.
There's just so much that the Sony Ericsson P800 can do. It's a multimedia player, a digital camera, a PDA and a cell phone all in one! For wireless connectivity you've got Bluetooth, GPRS and even MMS. Surfing the web on your phone has never been easier either.
Because it is partly a PDA after all, the Sony Ericsson P800 comes with a cradle so you can sync it with your notebook or pc while you're charging it. At the same time though syncing can also be done via infrared or Bluetooth. Software installation is fairly straightforward and you should have no problems with it at all.
As for the camera feature in the P800, its very easy to use and you'll be able to start snapping in just 2 simple clicks. Image quality is average and not exactly printable. However they do work great as wallpapers for your phone or even as caller IDs. Being a multimedia mobile as well, you can expect that the phone is capable of playing MIDI , MP3 and even wave files. Do note though that any of these audio files can also be used as your ringtones or alarms.
