The Nokia 7610 Cell Phone

A phone created during the battle of the camera phones, the Nokia 7610 is a smart phone that does a fairly decent job of being a mobile phone, organizer and camera all in one! There are a few issues here and there but overall it's a phone that's well worth its price.

One of the first things that stand out about the Nokia 7610 cell phone is its unusual keypad. But you need not worry because the keypad functions as conventionally as usual and are easy to press. The 65k color screen is also lovely to look at and best of all, it's clear and easy on the eye.

The messaging interface for the Nokia 7610 cell phone is excellent as usual. You can send text and multimedia easily. Even emails (that can be send on this GRPS enabled phone) are easy to write out. What was not handled well though was the extra words that I tried to add to the phone's predictive dictionary. For some reason those words were not retained after the phone had been switched off. A minor annoyance but still troublesome for those of us who enjoy texting a lot.

The main feature of the Nokia 7610 cell phone would be it's 1-megapixel camera. The pictures that were taken with this mobile were crisp and the fast refresh rate of the LCD ensures that there is no ghosting in the pictures. With a 4X zoom, night mode and self timer and night mode, the camera is pretty ok.

What stands out about the mobile phone though was its video functions. While everyone else is offering you a 10-30 second video recording, the Nokia 7610 cell phone boasts of being able to record 10 minutes long videos. The more creative mobile phone users will also definitely enjoy the movie director application. You'll be able to edit the videos to your hearts content.

For connectivity you'll have a speedy GRPS connection, Bluetooth and even a USB port for you to upload or download pictures, videos or even mp3s to your heart's content. Overall this is a truly solid phone that's worth investing in. Whether its audio quality, signal strength or even battery strength, there's nothing to complain about.
