Louisiana Senate Rejects Ban Of Cell Phones While Driving (KTAL Shreveport)
The Louisiana state senate defeated a bill that would have banned use of hand-held Cell Phones and text-messaging devices by drivers. The bill would have allowed drivers to only use hands-free headsets or blue-tooth devices. Supporters say the measure would curb distracted driving.
