Appeals court upholds ban on school cell phones by city (Staten Island Advance)

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. -- The ban on Cell Phones inside city public schools was upheld yesterday by a state appeals court. The Department of Education's ban, which dates to September 2005, has roiled parents citywide, and especially on Staten Island.
