The LG VX8000 (Verizon Wireless) Cell Phone

A little on the heavy side, the LG VX800 cell phone is expected to be considering all the features available in the phone. However while being heavy the phone is still well designed and more importantly, sturdy and reliable.

Speaking of design, there are some pretty interesting features on the cell phone's front cover. You'll find the cell phone's camera lens with the ability to switch from camera portrait to macro mode for close up shots. The external display screen can also act as a viewfinder for self portraits and the three buttons below (rewind, play/stop and fast-forward) will allow you to playback any multimedia files that you may download.

Because the LG VX8000 cell phone is pretty big, the navigation controls/keypad is well spaced and comfortable to use. They've got all the shortcuts you need to navigate through their user friendly interface. And best of all, the keypad is so well done that it's even possible to dial by feel. Great for if you are doing a lot of talking/dialing while driving.

The main focus on this cell phone is its multimedia features, but apart from those features the LG VX800 mobile has all the basic features a cell phone needs including a large phone book where you can insert pictures as caller IDs, speakerphone capabilities, three way calling, 30 one minute voice memos, text, multimedia and even instant messaging. What's lacking though is a serious disability to upload and download files because the cell phone has no Bluetooth, infrared or USB port. Due to this you'll have to use multimedia messaging by Verizon to do anything.

In conclusion, this mobile is a great phone in its own right with heaps of high end features. A great cell phone at a great price is what you should expect when you purchase the LG VX800. And on a side note, it works even better when you team it up with Verizon Wireless due to Its ability to allow users to access Video On Demand by the Verizon's V Cast service.
