The LG VI-5225 (Sprint) Cell Phone
Nicknamed the “little black dress” of cell phones, the LG VI-5225 is slim, black and suitable for just about any occasion. Those looking for a basic mobile phone should seriously consider it. It might be a little pricey at some stores but with the right discount from Sprint you won't regret it.
For this cell phone, LG decided to go with the minimalist design. Slim and easy on the pockets the mobile also feels comfortable and easy to hold and talk on. Overall the phone seems to have a modest feel about its design. This design holds even when you open up the flip. It's main screen can only hold 4k worth of colors but it still comes of as crisp and clear. The VI-5225 also has an animated menu that's cute, but it's nothing to really shout about.
There's not really much to talk about in terms of features with the LG VI-5225. It has the usual of course, 200-name phone book, caller ID and text messaging. Surprisingly in this day and age the mobile actually does not have multimedia messaging. The phone is Java enabled and has an integrated WAP browser so you can download more games or applications if you wish. There are also a bunch of customization options and you'll be able to change the greetings, wallpapers, styles, sounds or even colors on your LG VI-5225.
Sound wise, the audio quality of the cell phone is pretty ok. There weren't any problems with incoming or outgoing calls. It was noted that the mobile easily picks up breathing noises so you might not want to hold it too close to your mouth when you're talking. All in all it's a pretty little thing and it's a great cell phone but sadly that's about all there is to the LG VI-5225 from Sprint.
