The LG LX5550 Cell Phone
One of the things not to expect from the LG LX5550 cell phone is features. It is shockingly bare. It has no Bluetooth function, no infrared and no camera. It does however have the usual 500-entry phone book, the ability to assign ringtones as caller IDs and speed dial. One of the highlights of this phone is its voice command. Making calls through voice command is very simple and easy to use. And if the system is not sure of your request it will ask for confirmation on the command. That's where you will have to answer yes or no to continue. Sadly this great feature does not work in analog roaming mode.
As for calls, the quality fluctuated. When in digital roaming calls were not as clear as I'd like and for some reason the phone would occasionally slip into analog roaming and the call quality would worsen. And whilst the speakerphone was easy to use I often had to repeat myself to be understood. The battery life on the LG LX5550 is pretty average and holds up well even after multiple calls.
Not a terrible piece of work but at the end of the day there's really nothing unique about the LG LX5550. It's probably better for a basic cell phone user looking for nothing more than a bare-bones cell phone.
